Gutted

It is hard to believe how the team has changed. When the United product, club legend, the player turned manager was made the gaffer, fans regained hope. And it was intensified when we went 9 games without defeat.

While we were turning around our disappointing season in the domestics league, we did the impossible by knocking out the French giants, in the European tie, with a hard-fought victory. After failing to play remotely to our standards, ever since Sir Alex retired, the fans got a small reason to believe again. Believe in the team, the history, the accolade, and the legacy.

But suddenly, everything went downwards. With a great opportunity to get in the top three positions, we kept slipping. Each game went by with a disappointing result, which was completely conflicting with how we started the turnaround.

Bad results, bad performances, lack of heart, lack of character and team spirit, is what adds up to how we ended the season. In short, it raises questions about how far we are in giving a tough fight to top-flight teams in the world. With starting the mid-season at 3rd position, we ended up at 6th, losing out on Champions League next season. Needless to say, it is a massive blow for the team and more to the fans.

The team needs a complete revamp and there have to be aggressive activities in the transfer window.

I need the team to perform like it is supposed to perform. We are the biggest football club in the world, and it is about time that we start acting like it.
