Horizon

24 years, 9 months, 19 days and counting. Still a lot to figure out. A million things in mind making it difficult to focus on one. Looking back, I could see how things would have been different if I had made more decisive choices. I also know I cannot whine over the past as it is pointless and there shouldn’t be any room for regrets as I and only I took all those decisions that has made me who I am today. Everything about this life is the consequence of my own decisions, there is no one else to blame or point your finger at. At this age a person often wanders into the past. Re-playing the things that has already happened, in our minds with some desired changes and ultimately living the outcome of a happy memory.

For some people life becomes a silver platter when they know what they want to do, and they work for it accordingly with or without the support of the surrounding. They seem to have a well-defined focus which make it difficult for anything or anyone to distract them from achieving their goals. For others who have million things in mind and maybe a billion dreams are the ones who sit down alone from time to time stare at the adjacent wall and wander into a happy place. A place which is a small part of our brain which connects us to the past and takes us to the world of imagination. One by one our brain hits us with memories and we rewind and re-play the thoughts. Only this time we play it in a way that we want, or we envision.

Coming back to senses these thoughts start to fade away and our consciousness wakes us only to tell us that you are never too young to start an empire and never too old to start a new dream. There is one thing in life that is considered the most important element ofall Time. The time you lose can never be found again. You might lose money today, but you’ll get it back tomorrow but if you lose time today, you will never get it back. Every second you spend is moving forward. “Yesterday is gone, Tomorrow is yet to come, all you have is today” – Mother Teresa, once we realise this and change ourselves it will make things better. Consider today as the first day of the rest of your life. Take important decisions, make the right choices, don’t look back in the past, don’t worry about the future, just live for the moment, make it count. It is up to us to follow our dreams and passion or to sit back and relax all alone and stare at the adjacent wall and wander into a happy place.
